SCOPE OF WORK

Pier Offshore Management Services provides full operational management of mobile offshore drilling units, ranging from deep-water to  jack-up operations.
 
With our in-depth knowledge base and highly experienced offshore crew, we are committed to achieving our clients goals.
Our management company, even though it is a new organization, has resources with long and varied experience in operating mobile offshore drilling units. A rigid Operations Management Structure and detailed Operations Preparations Activity Plan has been established by the company for the planning and operations of various drilling units, providing the evidence that our Clients will operate their units under safety conditions as expected by oil companies world-wide, and with drilling personnel with sufficient experience operating rigs and conducting all manner of drilling and completion operations.
 
The safety conditions of the operations will be managed and maintained through an integrated and well defined QHSE Management System Framework, with detailed QHSE Management Procedures, Operating and Maintenance Procedures and Competency Development and Assurance procedures and plans being developed and fully implemented prior to commencement of operations by the assigned organization. This shall ensure the necessary control tools and documentation to safely and efficiently execute the drilling and completion operations. The Management System will be in full compliance with the requirements set forth by the governing rules and regulations.
 
Key operations personnel has already been recruited with extensive experience from offshore drilling operations world-wide. The operations personnel is being employed into the organization at an early stage of the construction process to ensure that this experience is utilized during the design and construction of the unit and further to execute all operations preparations activities as planned for the operations in line with client requirements.

Recruitment status:

Recruitment of personnel to the former Skeie (now Rowan) units is being postponed. Rig no. 1 (Rowan Viking) will be operating in UK waters for 19 months. Rig no. 2 (Rowan Stavanger) will operate in UK from 1st May to 1st November, after which it is very likely to move to Norway for operations there. Hence there will be no mass recruitment until later in 2011. See news letters below for updates. Such letters will be sent to our existing applicants for updates.

 

We have closed for new applicants. Applicants who are already in our system can update their applications as needed and will be kept updated via newletters on when we will start recruitment. You may at any time notify us if you want to be removed from our database.
